Questions about hedge cutting and tree work
When is the best time to cut a hedge?
Most hedges are cut between late summer and early spring. We check for nesting birds first between March and August and will advise if a job should wait.
Can you reduce a conifer hedge in height?
Yes. Leyland and similar conifers can be taken down in height, though they do not regrow from old wood, so we talk through how far to go before we start.
How big a hedge can you handle?
Tall boundary hedges and conifers are regular work. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight away.
